Book price changes and new editions

One of the threatened price hikes I warned of back in December is about to take place. The price of The Real World of Poldark will be going up by £1, from £9.99 to £10.99 within the next two or three days. For the moment I am holding the price of The Surnames of Cornwall and the other two books. I will be reviewing the price of the ebook versions dreckly.

Meanwhile, I can announce the publication of a new edition of a book originally published by Francis Boutle. An updated, revised and partly re-written edition of Cornwall’s First Golden Age: From Arthur to the Normans, winner of the 2017 Holyer An Gof award for non-fiction history books, should be available in early February once we have obtained and checked some proof copies.

  1. Hi Bernard, is there any chance of a reprint of your excellent book “The Cornish Family”, I had it on continuous loan from St. Austell library for about 6 months whilst I was researching my family. Second hand prices are prohibitive, anywhere from £150 upwards. Regards, Adrian Wilson
