In the major boundary changes of 2010 Truro and St Austell was split three ways. Western parishes became part of the new Truro and Falmouth constituency and the eastern part went into the new St Austell and Newquay constituency. One ward – Mount Hawke – became part of the Camborne and Redruth constituency.
